19 Florida Counties that Require an Original Premarital Preparation Course Certificate

Youtube

Here is a short video listing the counties whose court house requires an original and inked course certificate versus the automated pdf certificate we send you immediately once completing the course. I refer to these Florida counties as the slow to warm up children still afraid to enter the information age. There are 19 out of 67 that are a little behind the times. If you don’t hear your county on the list, then an electronic certificate, which we will email to you automatically, will be sufficient. If you hear your county on the list, then I suggest that you consider planning ahead for the certificate to arrive by snail mail (3-5 business days) or you get married in one of the other nearby counties in Florida that don’t require an inked and original certificate. Here is the list: Alachua, Bradford, Desota, Dixie, Flagler, Gulf, Hernando, Highlands, Leon, Levy, Monroe, Nassau, Okaloosa, Okeechobee, Pasco, Polk, Putnam, Seminole, and Taylor. Again, if you did not hear your county listed then the electronic certificate we send you automatically by email will give you the marriage license discount and ensure that you avoid the three day wait between applying and marrying.
