Component 1: Divorce as Loss. You will learn about the phases of divorce as well as how to help yourself and your children thrive through each phase.
Component 2: Permanency of Parental Role/Shared Parenting. You will learn about the changing roles of childcare as a result of divorce, and how to manage these changes amicably.
Component 3: Developmental Stages of Childhood. You will learn about your child’s particular needs given their age. You will know what to look out for if your child is having trouble with divorce and how to best address it given their stage of development.
Component 4: Communicating With Your Children. You will learn how to talk to your children appropriately about divorce and about your future former spouse.
Component 5: Communicating With the Other Parent. You will learn tools and techniques to amicably correspond with your future former spouse regarding the children as well as about moving forward and finding peace.
Component 6: Abuse. This component focuses on the legal definitions of abuse and domestic violence. It also addresses false reporting.
Component 7: Legal Concepts. Although this component does not serve as legal advice, it does provide statute information regarding marital dissolution and divorce terms that are likely new to you unless you have already been subjected to divorce.
Component 8: Parenting Time. You will learn about various parenting plan or time schedules that are known to work with families and children of different ages and in various situations.
Component 9: Where to Find Additional Help. You will find a helpful reference list of divorce experts and service providers within the community as well as books, blogs, and websites covering related topics.
Component 10: Reference List. Finally, we provide references to our sources assuring you that our course is empirically based. We also discuss other contributors to our course.
Florida Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course
Most counties in the state of Florida will allow you to complete a parenting divorce course such as our online Florida Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course. Confirm with your attorney, Judge’s Assistant, or county clerk’s office that you are authorized to complete an online version of this course in lieu of an in-person class.
To access our divorce course, simply make a payment online through our encrypted and secure eCommerce site above (24 hours a day) or contact our office at 904-379-8094 during regular business hours to make a credit card payment over the phone. Our regular business hours are Monday – Friday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, EST.
Immediately upon purchasing the course through our eCommerce site, you will automatically be emailed a password and link to access the course. It is important that you provide us with your correct email during your purchase so you receive the password and link instantly. If not, you will have to call our office during business hours.

About Dr. Justin D’Arienzo
Board Certified Clinical Psychologist, a distinction held by only five percent of psychologists nationally.
Dr. D’Arienzo completed his undergraduate degree at Furman University and the University of North Florida, a master’s and doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University, his psychology internship at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center and psychology residency at Pensacola Naval Hospital.
Once a licensed psychologist, he began his career as a US Navy Psychologist holding such positions as the Director of Psychological Services, Joint Medical Group/Joint Task Force, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Director of Psychological Services and the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program, USS KITTY HAWK Carrier Strike of the Pacific Fleet, Behavioral Health Clinic Department Head, Naval Air Technical Training Center, Pensacola, Florida.
Since leaving the Navy in 2008, he established D'Arienzo Psychological Group. He is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist specializing in independent psychological evaluations, social investigations, parental fitness evaluations, parenting coordination, family mediation, and reunification therapy. He has been qualified as an expert witness to testify in civil and criminal cases at the state (Florida and Tennessee) and federal levels and in the military court system.
